TEHRAN – The Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy is set to expand its reach by establishing new branches of the Iranian House of Innovation and Technology (iHiT) in various regional countries. This initiative aims to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among nations, enhancing the technological landscape across the region.
The establishment of these new hubs is part of Iran's broader strategy to promote innovation and entrepreneurship. By creating a network of innovation centers, the government seeks to support startups and researchers, facilitating access to resources, mentorship, and funding opportunities. These centers are expected to serve as a platform for the exchange of ideas and technological advancements, ultimately contributing to economic growth and development.
Officials believe that by extending the iHiT's influence beyond its borders, Iran can strengthen its position as a regional leader in science and technology. The initiative reflects a commitment to building international partnerships and promoting a culture of innovation that transcends geographic boundaries.
