Golfers in southeastern Arizona have a new reason to visit the practice facility at Mt. Graham Municipal Golf Course. The club has officially opened a Toptracer driving range, bringing tour-level ball tracking technology to the local course.

Toptracer uses a network of high-speed cameras to follow each shot from the moment of impact. Players can watch their ball flight on a screen in their bay, seeing real-time data such as distance, speed, launch angle, and curve. The system also offers a range of games and challenges, turning a standard practice session into something closer to a video game.

For casual players, the appeal is simple fun. Friends can compete in closest-to-the-pin contests or virtual rounds on famous courses without leaving the range. For serious golfers, the data provides useful feedback on swing changes and club selection.
