An Amazon Just Walk Out technology powered store has opened at a newly revamped Penn Gaming Casino in Joliet, Illinois. The casino, which recently reopened its doors, was completed nearly six months ahead of schedule, showcasing a significant investment of $185 million.
Spanning an impressive 189,000 square feet, the venue boasts approximately 1,000 slot machines and 43 live table games, making it a major attraction for gaming enthusiasts. The integration of Amazon's innovative shopping technology allows guests to enjoy a seamless retail experience, eliminating the need for traditional checkout lines.
Visitors can simply walk in, grab their items, and exit the store, with their purchases automatically billed to their Amazon accounts.
