Nocera Expands Diversified Technology Strategy With Binding Agreement to Acquire an Equity Interest in INERGX, an Integrated Energy Storage and Power Platform for AI, Defense and Mission-Critical Demand

Nocera, Inc. has signed a binding agreement to purchase an equity interest in INERGX, an energy storage and power platform focused on mission-critical applications. The deal positions the company at the center of the global build-out for AI infrastructure and energy systems, a market projected to reach nearly $7 trillion by 2030.

INERGX is building an integrated platform to design, deploy, and service battery energy storage and power systems. Its work targets high-demand sectors including artificial intelligence data centers, defense operations, and other mission-critical environments where reliable power is essential.

The investment expands Nocera's diversified technology strategy, adding a direct stake in the growing intersection of energy storage and next-generation computing. As AI workloads increase, the demand for stable, high-capacity power has become a major bottleneck for data center expansion. INERGX aims to address that gap with scalable storage solutions.

Nocera, based in Taipei and listed on the Nasdaq, has been broadening its portfolio beyond its original focus. This move signals a bet on the long-term need for backup and primary power systems that can support both civilian tech infrastructure and defense applications.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close in the coming months, pending standard conditions.
