After more than two decades of development, WorldVuer has announced the completion of its technology ecosystem, a milestone that brings together its Peregrine 3VPU chips, AI-powered Intelligent Rail, and the WiOS operating system. The company framed the announcement as the close of a long research and engineering effort rather than a single product launch.
The Peregrine 3VPU line sits at the center of the ecosystem. These chips are designed to handle visual processing workloads directly, reducing reliance on general-purpose hardware for tasks such as image analysis and real-time video interpretation. According to the company, the architecture has been refined across multiple generations, with the third iteration focused on efficiency and on-device AI performance.
The Intelligent Rail system applies AI to rail operations, covering areas like monitoring, scheduling, and predictive maintenance. WorldVuer describes it as a practical deployment of its chip technology, where visual data from rail environments is processed locally and turned into operational decisions.
WiOS ties the hardware and applications together. The operating system is built to manage visual and AI workloads across devices, giving developers a common platform for software built on Peregrine chips. WorldVuer says the combination of chip, rail system, and operating system forms a complete stack that took 22 years to assemble.
The company did not disclose pricing, availability dates, or specific partners for the new technologies. It said further details on deployment will be shared as the ecosystem moves toward commercial use.
