We are excited to introduce the 2025 Class of CCST Science & Technology Policy Fellows. This esteemed program is designed to immerse PhD scientists in the intricacies of public policy by placing them in various Legislative and Executive Branch offices across California.
The fellows will engage directly with policy makers, contributing their scientific expertise to inform and shape decisions that impact the state's scientific and technological landscape. This unique opportunity allows scientists to bridge the gap between research and policy, ensuring that evidence-based solutions are prioritized in legislative discussions.
Each fellow will work closely with government officials, gaining invaluable experience in the policy-making process while advocating for science-driven initiatives. The program not only enhances the fellows' understanding of the political system but also empowers them to become effective communicators of science in public forums.
As the 2025 cohort embarks on this journey, they will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of informed decision-making in California's government.
