Intake Breathing has secured a $62 million investment from Camino Partners to expand its patented magnetic nasal dilator system, a device designed to improve airflow and sleep quality. The funding round was discussed by Camino Partners founder Daniel Lubetzky and Intake Breathing co-founder Alex Hauck during an appearance on "The Claman Countdown," where they outlined the company's plans for the capital.
The magnetic nasal dilator works by gently widening the nasal passages to increase airflow, a approach that differs from traditional adhesive strips. According to the company, the system is intended to help users breathe more easily during sleep, potentially reducing snoring and improving rest quality. The technology has drawn attention as more consumers seek non-invasive solutions for breathing and sleep issues.
Lubetzky, known for founding the snack company Kind, has been active as an investor through Camino Partners. Hauck co-founded Intake Breathing to bring the magnetic dilator concept to market. The two discussed the growing demand for products that address sleep and respiratory health, and how the new funding will support manufacturing, distribution and further product development.
The investment reflects continued interest from venture and growth equity firms in consumer health technology, particularly devices that target common problems like poor sleep and nasal congestion. Intake Breathing said the capital will help it scale operations and reach a broader customer base.
