Hatch Product Development & Contract Manufacturing has successfully licensed innovative electric vehicle (EV) charging technology from the US Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory. This cutting-edge platform facilitates seamless digital communication among electric vehicles, charging stations, and the power grid. Utilizing protocols such as ISO 15118 and SWCAN (SAE J2411), the technology supports various advanced functionalities, including bidirectional charging, which allows energy to flow both to and from the vehicle, enhancing energy management.
In addition, the system enables multi-device charger control, allowing users to manage multiple charging units efficiently. Remote diagnostics capabilities are also integrated, providing real-time monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
