On November 8, a ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the official opening of the new student lounge for the Division of Engineering Technology. Situated on the fifth floor of Engineering North, this modern space is designed to foster collaboration and innovation among students.
The establishment of the lounge was made possible through a generous donation from Human Mode, a robotics company based in Oklahoma City. This new facility aims to provide a comfortable and engaging environment for students to study, collaborate on projects, and relax between classes.
In attendance were faculty, students, and representatives from Human Mode, all celebrating the partnership that made this facility a reality. The lounge is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities and serves as a hub for engineering technology students to connect and share ideas.
The Division of Engineering Technology is excited about the positive impact this lounge will have on student life and academic success in the program.
